Synopsis:
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. understood the importance of documenting the struggle of the Civil Rights Movement in America during the 1960s. He trusted one photographer above all others - Flip Schulke. This film chronicles the life and career of one of the most prolific photojournalists during the movement and explores the powerful impact that media had in transforming this society. Schulke put his own life in danger while documenting many civil rights marches and rallies. His iconic imagery is vast resource to a time of cast social upheaval and racial reform.
