Synopsis:
"My Father's Son" is a story with songs about the things we miss. In the wake of his father's death, Ameer meets his father's mistress and his half-brother for the very first time, and finds consolation where he least expects it. A study in grief and acceptance, "My Father's Son" is inspired by classics of the French New Wave and Hindi Musicals of the 1950s. "My Father's Son" also explores themes of cultural difference and reconciliation.
