Synopsis:
A small airport in Switzerland. Simone has to attend her father's funeral, but she misses her connecting flight. Natalie is waiting. For whom, she doesn't yet know. In between, she collects time passing. Two strangers, caught in a night with no morning. They hesitate. Recognize and lose themselves. In each other. In the night. Far away from time that keeps ticking. And finally catches up with them. DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT: "510 Meters Above Sea Level" seduces and induces the viewer to see the extra in the ordinary and give in to the magic of the moment. My film does not strive to reinvent the world, but to show the opportunities of a moment, pause and listen to each others' seemingly puny and irrelevant stories. It is not about just meeting someone, but about touching the other person and discovering more about oneself.
