Synopsis:
A married couple in their early thirties discover that they are unable to have children. On the same day the husband spies a bird flying lazily in the sky. Envious of the bird's freedom and overwhelmed by a feeling of emasculation, the man withdraws from his wife and starts obsessively learning about birds. Retreating further and further into the avian world, the man's mania leads him to believe that his wife is actually conspiring against him. That she is a cuckoo stealing his eggs. Determined to wrest control of their "nest" from her, the man finally confronts his wife with devastating results.
