Gerard Linder prepares himself for the most important combat in his life. He has decided to win the top title. If he wins, he will be the first Gypsy in the world who is a world champion in kickboxing. However, it is not a sport fight that is the most important matter of this project, but a fight about the Gypsies and for the Gypsies. To make them feel they are rightful citizens, and to bring their strength and sense of personal worth back. It is an everyday struggle with the stereotype of a dirty and lazy Gypsy. But in his personal life, Gerard is helpless. All of his three sons were born with a cleft palate defect, and the first years of their lives are tightly connected with painful medical surgeries. Soon, Gerard’s next child will be born. And Gerard's most desperate wish is for the child to be healthy.
