Synopsis:
In the Sufi landscape of India, the Nizamuddin dargah occupies an iconic space. But the dargah is just part of a wide canvas of monuments and sites, tucked within a sprawling poor and congested basti. In "24 Hours" we examine a unique attempt to revive the basti's local heritage and improve the quality of life for its people. An intervention which gives rise to all the complex questions of conservation in India.
