Mary - 93 Years Old: One Minute to Midnight Shorts| 1mins
Director: Steve French | Producer: Second Banana Films
Focus Years: 2010 | Country: United States
Synopsis:
Mary's friend has given her a magazine with a cover article telling readers "how to live to 100 and not regret it," but she's not interested in living at all if she can't keep herself looking reasonable and being reasonable. This is from the series of short (one-minute) animations featuring anecdotes and moments from the lives of people over 60, from a variety of multicultural backgrounds living in Australia. Some are joyful, others triumphant and still others poignant or creeping into tragedy. Their stories are as many and varied as anybody’s, but most are touched with humor, showing us what it is like to be an older person, here and now.
