George - 68 Years Old: One Minute to Midnight Shorts| 1mins
Director: Steve French | Producer: Second Banana Films
Focus Years: 2010 | Country: United States
Subject Tags: australia, oceania, relationships
Quality Tags: Optimistic, Slow, Activating, Harmonizing
Synopsis:
George can dance - the cha cha cha, the waltz, you name it. Like any father or grandfather he has worries, but he finds he can leave them behind when he does the foxtrot. This is from the series of short (one-minute) animations featuring anecdotes and moments from the lives of people over 60, from a variety of multicultural backgrounds living in Australia. Some are joyful, others triumphant and still others poignant or creeping into tragedy. Their stories are as many and varied as anybody’s, but most are touched with humor, showing us what it is like to be an older person, here and now.
