Synopsis:
The blue line is the border in Lebanon, settled by the ONU in August 2006 after the conflict between the Israel Defence Forces and the Shiite organization Hezbollah, which operates inside Lebanese and Syrian territories. A group of Spanish soldiers is part of the contingent stationed in Marjayoun, to the south of Lebanon, in order to preserve peace and to help the legitimate Lebanese government to control the area. “On the Blue Line” is a reflection exercise about peace and its complexity and about the role of the army in the twenty-first century.
