Synopsis:
A engaged couple is in the market to buy property. They meet a real estate agent who will stop at nothing to sell this house. Stevie imagines the wonderful possibilities of a life in this house, but Ben sees only cracking walls and broken glass. The couple explores the house and unexpectedly encounters some of its former tenants still living there. Ben searches further and finds a man chanting a death prayer to his wife, who is trapped under a fallen roof. Trying to lend assistance, Ben finds himself in the middle of an ongoing battle, a civil war. He rushes to find Stevie to tell her that they must leave immediately. But it is too late: Stevie has already signed the papers and bought the property. Utterly destroyed, this house serves as a metaphor for the American occupation of Iraq.
