Synopsis:
Situated at No. 1 Shengfu Street, Xigang District, the city of Dalian, the old tenement has a history of nearly one hundred years. Now, it is occupied by 98 families. We have interviewed seven families many a time from 2003 to 2010, namely the households of Sun, Kong, Liu, Shi, Wang, Gu, and Chen. Different families hold their expectations despite various hardships in seven years.
