Synopsis:
Reliant on traditional fishing methods, fishermen situated in Karnataka, India, face immense threats to their livelihood from various fronts. Overfishing and the rise of mega-trawlers are the main causes of concern. This documentary seeks to explore how the lives of the traditional fishermen of Karnataka are affected by this rapid industrialization. Interviews were conducted with local marine experts, local traditional fishermen as well as the industrial fishermen to provide a comprehensive view of the situation.
