On May 3 and 4, 2006, the federal, state and municipal government execute the “Rescue Operation” in Texcoco and San Salvador Atenco. Two young boys were murdered, hundreds injured, detained, tortured, raped, deported and more than 100 judicial processes in course. The first documentary, "Atenco: a Crime of State" was about this. Two years later, the consequences of this tragic and terrible action still continue. The Frente de Pueblos en Defensa de la Tierra and similar organizations resist and claim for justice, for the liberty of political prisoners, the cancellation of capture orders and the punishment of the responsibles for this crime of state.
