Synopsis:
"The Hakala Brothers" is a short-form documentary about two brothers who were born, raised and still live in the remote forests of Northern Wisconsin with no running water or electricity. They live off the land, off the grid and survive by working odd jobs and improvising everything they can. They are simple humans, but surely considered modern-day pioneers. While the rest of us live and work in modern civilization, Allen and Harold are living the only way they have known their entire lives.
