Sanghmitra Mainkar, who is from the heavily-mined area of Bicholim in Goa, India, reports how miners dump waste into the nearby beautiful river Mandovi. Although this is most certainly illegal, the waste dumping is being carried out in broad daylight, polluting main water supply channels to critical levels!
