A tragedy takes place in Colombia's rainforests. Tens of thousands of peasants are being driven away and massacred to make way for palm oil plantations. Christian missionaries try to protect the threatened population though only with moderate success. Among the missionaries is Father Joseph Schönenberger. Film-maker Frank Garbely and his crew accompanied him through the jungle to reveal the backgound of this tactics of expulsion.
