Synopsis:
Jonas Burgert paintings became very popular in the last few years. Famous art collectors, e.g. Don Rubell, Kent Logan or Harald Falckenberg, pay a lot of money to own one of his mystical paintings. But Burgert's personality didn't change. Being an artist, expressing himself, and telling about the apocalyptic world is the most important thing for him. We accompany him for one year. In our documentary, we show his paintings at exhibitions in Berlin, New York, Denver, and London. We also talk to art collectors and gallery owners about Burgert's work and its meaning within art history.
