Synopsis:
Violence against women in Afghanistan is still widespread. Women of all ages are enduring brutal physical and sexual abuse in their own homes. This film looks at the various issues around women's rights and domestic violence in Afghanistan. It includes interviews with Horia Mosadiq, Amnesty International Afghanistan Researcher and Gualay Habib, an Afghan human rights defender. The film begins with a short interview with Sosan, a woman who describes some of the domestic violence she has experienced.
