From forgotten battlefields to "unknown soldier" cemeteries, two Vietnamese war veterans go searching for the bodies of comrades who have disappeared, in order to give them to their families. In a present sometimes haunted by the ghosts of history, they encounter a woman who is still haunted by the past.
