Synopsis:
With some transcendental passages from the "Bardo Thodol", this film immerses you in a journey of sensory experiences. An experimental documentary filmed in non-conventional landscapes in Varanasi and cities of the Himalayas, aiming carefully to emphasize the different states of altered consciousness that the author himself experimented with over 4 months. Involving us in the emptiness and fear brought on by the idea of death, this is an experimental film that plays with different atmospheres, disturbing alteration of colours, strange photo-image damages and perturbing sounds to create long vacuum spaces full of calm and interpersonal questioning. It is literally a filmic hallucination, where the concern about and despair at the end of our existence are represented in a trip of conjectures and abstractions that ends being a necessary breath in our individuality.
