Synopsis:
Debi Sawchuk can't wait to begin her journey in Mexico at the ancient sites of Yaxchilan, Palenque, and Tonina as the physical backdrop for her spiritual journey lead by Mayan Priest and Master Teacher, Miguel Angel Vergara. It is Miguel Angel's wisdom that he learned from the ancient ones and Debi's willingness to challenge herself and experience life that propels the short documentary. The essence of the wisdom relates to our connection with Mother Earth and all that surrounds us. Miguel Angel explains that we are "unconsciousness" but that "as we become more and more aware, the elements of light will come back again, but the only ones that have the power to change that is you." The emphasis is not on changing the others, it is on changing you and applying this change everyday. This is a change that comes from the inside that you feel in your heart, that you feel in every cell. It is now the moment to act and to change our attitude. Then, it is from you that the ripples will be felt. The most important thing is what is inside you and your steps toward consciousness and an enlightened life.
