Synopsis:
It's a story about one of the most important moments in everybody's life. About the first border young people have to cross to become adults. It is the beginning of school. In case of this film, it's a few children from the tundra moving to the urban environment. They have to leave their homes in order to start an education at school. In the tundra where they live there is no such a possibility. They reach school on the board of state boats and helicopters which have to cover the distance of many kilometers through the tundra. Usually, is the first time that they see towns, big buildings, shops, cars. For these children, this move is like a trip to another continent. This change - from the open space of the tundra and tents to the concrete boarding school - is an extreme experience. For the whole coming year, they have to cope by themselves, without their parents’ support.
