Synopsis:
Going Blind was filmed over the course of 48 hours in my childhood home. My grandmother has lived with us since I was seven years old. In recent years we've watched her transition from a strong-willed German woman to a frail shadow, perplexed by the trials and tribulations associated with aging. This short, lyrical piece examines her current state accompanied by the words of German poet Rainer Maria Rilke.
