The film intertwines Tricia, Chloe, and Noelani recounting memories of incarceration, rehabilitation and the struggle to find a path back into the community. Using poetic visuals of public, intimate and desolate spaces, the film examines the psychological impact of prison time. With deeply personal reflections on trust, recovery, routine, food and fear, "Living Inside Out" shows the lasting imprint of incarceration within these women, long after the prison door closes.
