A humorous and touching portrait of San Francisco Jewish nursing home resident Esther Weintraub, a feisty, witty, former model/former stand-up comedian who comes back to life when a spring chicken in her 40's (comedian Lisa Geduldig) befriends her. Despite the vast age difference, they become inseparable friends. A retrospective of Esther’s unique life and her relationship with first-time filmmaker Geduldig, who brought Esther back onstage at 87 to perform comedy.
