Synopsis:
Contemporary painter Adam Shaw is shown at work in his studio over the course of a year. He takes brisk walks in the vineyards, sculpts with rocks and lumber on his Glen Ellen terrace, improvising on his guitar, cooking meals for family and friends, painting, and explaining his philosophy and method of finding ‘the painting in the canvas.” This film is an experiment exploring the creative process, and the result provides insight and understanding into the world of abstract painting.
