Synopsis:
Beehive in My Heart is a film about abiding friendship and Alie's story of living with cancer and dying of cancer, and how she lived within the transformative power of being in the present moment. The story expands on an essay Alie wrote about the relationship she had with "the stranger" which is her cancer and is woven within the various aspect that unfold about her life from creative work to her return to her root religion Judaism. Friends and family collaborated on one last performance together with Alie with their own work and talents whether it be dance or song or the written word in the spirit of the life we all shared together.
