Simonee Chichester's father, Edgar Chichester, left her when she was just six years old. Since then, her only parent has been her overbearing, but fiercely loving mother. Twenty-three years later, her father's alcoholism and depression have led him to the streets of São Paulo, Brazil where he lives as a homeless and is seriously ill. Before it's too late to get to know her father, Simonee decides to go on an emotionally charged journey in search for him. But as she soon realizes that it's one thing to find your father, but quite another to face the man who is at the core of your innermost struggles.
