Synopsis:
“Human Capital – The Employment Trade“ portrays the fate of three people and their struggle through the global world of work. Chamila Alvis moves from Sri Lanka to Cyprus. She struggles with the separation from her children and her homeland as she attempts to deal with the foreign land she has entered. Dirk Wagner and Volker Nebelung try to escape from the recession in the construction industry in East Germany. They prepare themselves for a trip to Europe’s largest construction site in London. Jay Gaines, a headhunter in New York, is desperate looking for candidates at Wall Street for the position of chief executive of a large corporation. If he does not manage to find ’Mr Perfect’, he will risk his good reputation along with hundreds of thousands of dollars.
