Synopsis:
Belfast has seen tensions between Protestants and Catholics for centuries. In 1969 fighting broke out and the British Army was sent in. 'Crossing the Divide' is a documentary about friendship, love and community work in Belfast during the Troubles. It shows how the Deaf community overcame the religious and political divisions that split Northern Ireland for over 30 years.
