The film also covers the difficulties other fellow citizens face in taking care of their families. The story tracks the life of two characters (Hani and his cat Latifa). Hani’s life changes after losing his job in a Gulf country and becoming sick. His friends leave him and he becomes very sick. Latifa enters his life at this stage. Hani and Latifa bond together and become very good friends. Latifa gives birth to three kittens. Then Hani decides to leave the country and return to Jordan. At this point, Hani finds himself emotionally and ethically connected with the cats and decides to take them with him to Jordan. In Jordan, Hani faces many difficulties at the airport while trying to let his cats into the country, although all of their papers were in order according to correct formalities. Then, he faces many problems with his parents trying to convince them to keep his cats. His parents convince him to give them away, but he changes his mind and decides to keep them when he discovers that his cats would not be treated nicely if they were given away. The story in general emphasizes the friendship between man and animals and tells the story of keeping friendship against all odds.
