The many shades of white in nature - from ivory to sandalwood paste and jasmine flowers to ash - are part of our living cultural tradition. It is the color chosen by Gandhiji as the fabric of swaraj due to its symbol of purity. This episode takes us on an exploratory voyage of the world of weavers in Varanasi to Gandhiji's ashram in Ahmedabad and the temples of Nathdwara in Rajasthan to discover how white is the color of celebration, especially of Holi.
