Synopsis:
El Viaje silencioso is a film about a wall. A wall of hundreds of miles between the two countries, socially and physically. On the Mexican side, in a small border town called Agua Prieta, Beto is the director of a center that offers services to deported migrants and Raul directs a rehab center and knows the desert better than anyone. On the U.S. side, Luis is an illegal immigrant, and Ted, an artist inspired by that cause. Through these four characters, we explore the different realities that surround the United States–Mexico migration situation. A poetic journey through these territories. A tribute to human courage, dreams and hope.
