Synopsis:
Hope is born out of crisis. A community sets out to find a solution for the critical shortage of resources at a remote hospital in rural South Africa. With a dream to shatter the force field of poverty, staff at Mosvold hospital, start a mentorship program enabling local youth to qualify as healthcare professionals. Facing extraordinary odds, scholarship grantees and graduates share their experiences as they set out to take charge of their situation. Defying conventional wisdom their perseverance shows how it is possible to succeed, when given the opportunity, bringing to bear a powerful message in a world facing huge challenges in healthcare provision.
