(Texto en español abajo.) When the new SB 1070 law was announced in Arizona in April 2010, the US began to observe a new phenomenon: southward migration. Like thousands of immigrants, Gerardo decided to return to Mexico. After 4 years of living without papers in the US, 3 journeys through the desert, and 2 deportations, he gives up his American dream and begins a new life yet again. We explore his country through his eyes. --- Cuando la nueva ley SB 1070 en Arizona se anunció en abril de 2010, Estados Unidos comenzó a observar un nuevo fenómeno: la migración hacia el sur. Como miles de migrantes, Gerardo decidio regresar a México. Después de 4 años de vida indocumentados en los EE.UU., tres viajes a través del desierto y 2 deportaciones, renuncia a su sueño americano y comienza una nueva vida una vez más.
