Synopsis:
This documentary, the first Israeli-Palestinian co-production, in which cooperation both in production and creative work took place under the auspices of the European Community. The film represents a microcosm of the silent majority entangled in historical conditions of ongoing warfare; it describes the conflict from the various angles of six protagonists: three Israelis and three Palestinians. The Palestinians were filmed by a Palestinian team, the Israelis by an Israeli team. The protagonists are: Gidi, a combat soldier in the Hebron area; Natalie a sales-woman from Sderot; Fatma, a teacher in East Jerusalem; Shmulik, a vascular surgeon from Afula; Sami, an orthopedic surgeon from the Kalandia refugee camp; Muhammad, a youngster from Ramalla.
