For All To See| 16mins
Director: GALIA OSMO | Producer: GALIA OSMO
Focus Years: 2008 | Country: Israel
Synopsis:
Bombarded by ads, billboards, signs, posters and shop window splendors, we walk the streets unaware of an entire world displayed for all and yet unseen. Graffiti, murals, installations and prints call upon passers by to open their eyes, for some artists any wall is a canvas and every day an exhibition.
An insightful look into the world behind the graffiti and street art in Tel Aviv. The artists that are interviewed create their art in abandoned buildings or on the city walls, knowing that it will disappear in the near future. Their purpose seems to be to pull people out of their usual routine, be it only briefly. The film is a mixture of live action, animation and stop-motion. As stunning and imaginative as the doings of the characters that are in it.
