“Journey of two women” is a participatory documentary about two young women trying to discover what gender violence really is in Pakistan. It is an honest look at how gender roles are usually perceived in Pakistan and what basic issues women face regarding their rights. The film not only focuses on the issue of gender discrimination, but also provides an intimate look at the journey of the two filmmakers in making the film. The film shows the experiences that the two women go through and how it shapes up their perception about their society. It allows them to answer some of the questions that they initially had while forcing them to raise new ones.
