Synopsis:
This is the story of three remarkable homeless individuals determined to make a business out of rubbish.
With the help of Awethu Project, Colin, Thandeka and Bhekinhlanhla have come up with a business idea: picking unsorted waste, selecting it and bringing it to a recycling plant in exchange for money. By signing up deals with local corporate and catering businesses, they are able to collect large volumes of waste in order to earn more money. Their dream is to transition from waste pickers to company managers by developing a sustainable business that will restore dignity in their lives.
