Synopsis:
Local people from the small village of Olympos in Greece are very committed to the preservation of tradition as a source of either identity and/or income. However, tourists who visit the village each summer challenge tradition by bringing not only income but also change. While transmigrants who return to Olympos and attend the local Virgin Mary Festival expect to find everything unchanged, young girls carry the primary burden of preserving tradition.
