Synopsis:
During the summer of 2008, we developed two model animation workshops in the cities of Tijuana and San Diego as part of the project “The Other Side of the Line. Tijuana- San Diego Crossed Gazesâ€. It is a tri-national project involving more than 50 people from U.S.A., Mexico and France. During the workshops, children from each city, helped by young visual artists and students, produced a short animation film around the topic “the other side of the lineâ€, resulting in a documentary directed by Joël Martins Da Silva. It lets us discover the workshops animation films and its realization. Crossing the line, his camera is the union between our young film-makers.
