Synopsis:
The film “Women's Dreams” addresses the phenomenon of German women who have converted to Islam. Islamic centers and mosques in Germany confirm that the number of Germans, especially women, who have converted to Islam, has increased in the past years. Barbara, an elementary school teacher, found her new religion through her Turkish husband. Her family reacted with very mixed feelings. Christiane, a psychologist, and Susanne, a sales woman in a stone store, discovered Islam through Sufism. The conversion greatly changed the daily life of these three women. The film aims to portray what moves German women to take on Islam as their new religion.
