Synopsis:
Musicians without Borders (MwB), established in 1999, is a global network organization using the power of music for healing and reconciliation in areas torn by war and conflict. In 2012, Musicians without Borders initiated a long-term project in Rwanda, training youth to become music workshop leaders to hundreds of HIV-affected and underprivileged children. This song was written by the youth leaders during a songwriting workshop they gave to children in the program. Our project continues to provide music workshop leadership training, music therapy and outreach events to support and empower thousands of HIV-affected youth and children and to improve their engagement with medical treatment through partner organization WE-ACTx for Hope.
