Synopsis:
To develop a concrete and sincere understanding of what has happened in Colombia, the active listening of women's testimonies holds great importance. Therefore, this documentary reaches out to women from diverse borders—with different ethnic and regional backgrounds, ideologies and roles in the face of war—for them to come forward in front of us. This documentary presents the faces and voices of women who saw and lived the war, with the purpose of understanding and transforming our present, separating it from the past and creating a new future. Through these issues, we are attempting to create new communities and open new ways to interpret and reflect on the ethical, social and political history of the Colombian armed conflict.
