Synopsis:

The border between Mexico and the U.S.A. is a bone of contention for many folk - not least for those who live there. "Fronterismo" takes us on a relaxed amble through the badlands where we meet all kinds of colourful characters and hear their views on the U.S.A.'s border policy set against the backdrop of the true wild west landscape. The slow, sometimes almost meditative visualization of this photogenic location produces stunning images of abandoned roads, ghost towns, whimsical desert landscapes and rock formations and lonely, curving rivers.
