Synopsis:
As per Water Aid's latest survey report, Bihar needs to build 6,900 toilets a day to keep promise of total sanitation. Through this video, Navita shows how residents of one village in Katihar District haven't been able to get access to the funds available under the country-wide Total Sanitation Campaign. In the hope of these funds, the residents have built toilets themselves, many by taking loans. Navita hopes this video will catch the attention of the authorities and help move things along.
