Camille was born as a boy, Antoine. At nearly fifty, he decides to assume his deep aspiration towards femininity. In the quest for his true identity, he faces physical, moral, and emotional suffering. We witness his gender transition in an extremely intimate way, without any trace of voyeurism. His/her story confronts many of our prejudices and misconceptions about trans-identity. The film turns out to be a lesson about humanity and true love.
