This film is shot on location in a small community of farming people. It consists of two rows of houses and the land surrounding it. People such as the goose raiser and the shepherd make up part of this hard-working community. It feels as though time has stood still in this amazing little place. Ancient skills and crafts are used daily here, which ensures that they will be handed down to future generations. Although they appear to live in a time warp, these people are acutely aware of some of the major issues facing the modern world, like global warming and environmental pollution. With this in mind, they all make a concerted effort not to assist or contribute to the destruction of Mother Earth. These people live in harmony with nature and liken it to a game of chess: once the game is over, all the parts are returned to their rightful place.
