Synopsis:
The late 1980s logging ban in Thailand was imposed due to the loss of most of Thailand's forests. The film examines some of the effects on local communities and the timber industry, and on neighbouring Burma which suffered increased timber exploitation and timber smuggling into Thailand. It also raised the consciousness of the Thai public to environmental issues and the law.
