Synopsis:
"La vena del corazón" is the main artery that the indigenous people of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia denote as a line passing through the territory of their ancestors. It is the border to their holy land. This border leads from the Caribbean into the mountains and is destroyed by commercial mega-projects. Following an invitation, a small team went into the mountains of the Sierra to accompany daily life in one of the families and travel to Bogotá to meet with indigenous representatives.   The result is a short documentary in which the voices of two Wiwa lead us through the film and bring us closer to their view of the world.
